Olympian Motors Delivers First Vehicles, Announces Foxconn Partnership
Olympian Motors, the New York-founded EV startup behind the Model 84 convertible SUV, has achieved a milestone that most companies on this tracker haven't: actual customer deliveries.
First Deliveries in California
In July 2025, Olympian completed its first official commercial delivery in California. A second batch followed in November. While the numbers are small — the Model 84 is a limited run of just 310 units — these are real vehicles going to real customers, which puts Olympian ahead of much of the pack.
Foxconn Manufacturing Partnership
Perhaps more significant for the long term, Olympian announced a partnership with Foxconn in May 2025 to develop an AI-Native Vehicle OS on the Olympus Platform. This partnership, combined with an earlier NVIDIA collaboration (December 2024) and an Amazon AWS deal for AI cockpit features (September 2025), positions Olympian as more of a platform company than just a car maker.
The Model 84
As a reminder, the Model 84 is a $70,000 roofless electric SUV built with titanium and carbon fiber. It replaces traditional screens with an augmented reality heads-up display projected onto the windshield. It's powered by an 89 kWh, 800-volt battery delivering 340 hp and 310 miles of range. It's not really a truck — but it's one of the most interesting vehicles on this tracker.
Our Take
Olympian is a genuine surprise. The Y Combinator pedigree, NVIDIA/Foxconn/AWS partnerships, and actual deliveries give it more substance than its niche product might suggest. The Model 84 itself is a luxury oddity, but the Olympus Platform underneath could power broader and more practical vehicles — including the upcoming Model 42 van.
